De NGK CR8EKB bougie is een weerstandsbougie met ingebouwde keramische weerstand, ontworpen om radiostoring door de vonkontlading te onderdrukken en een stabiele ontsteking van het lucht-brandstofmengsel te garanderen. Ten opzichte van de CR8EB heeft ze twee massa-elektroden in plaats van één, voor een constantere vonk in de tijd.
