The Mitsuboshi drive belt is the original equipment part for the variator on the Sym 125cc platform. It transmits power from the front variator to the rear pulley: wear, cracking or stretching of the belt causes power loss, slipping and vibration during acceleration. Periodic replacement is recommended according to the intervals shown in the maintenance manual.
