The Mitsuboshi drive belt is the replacement part for the variator of Kymco People S (125, 150 and 200) and Kymco Like (125 and 150) scooters built from 2017. The belt transmits power from the front variator to the rear pulley: when it is worn, cracked or stretched, performance drops and acceleration becomes uneven, with slipping and vibration.

It should be checked and replaced at the intervals given in the owner's manual, and in any case whenever work is done on the variator or the rollers and sliders are replaced.
