For the installation of turn signals, a specific wiring kit is essential.

On models equipped with a control warning light on the instrumentation (exclusively BMW R nine T from 2017 onwards), in order to prevent activation of the warning light or anomalies in the flashing frequency, it is recommended to install the EE149H resistor kit (3 W – 38 Ω) connected in parallel to the Rizoma turn signals.

Warning: since Rizoma three-function rear turn signals also integrate rear position and brake light, they can only be installed when:

• Rizoma has created a complete license plate holder with dedicated wiring kit, thus allowing the removal of the original rear light thanks to the installation of multifunction turn signals;
• or, if the motorcycle mounts multifunction turn signals as standard, Rizoma has developed a specific plug&play wiring kit.

It is therefore always recommended to check the list of products compatible with your motorcycle model. The absence of multifunction turn signals in the catalog indicates that any dedicated license plate holder does not allow the removal of the original rear light or wiring kits to replace the standard multifunction turn signals are not available.
